Buesaco is also the name of an ethnic group that belong Buesaco municipality, located 37 kilometers northeast of the capital of the department of Nariño. Nariño’s coffee cup characteristics tend to offer an increased acidity, medium body, with a good balance and character. Its smooth flavor is variable with a high presence of citric and sweet notes.
The fertilization is organic, the ripe beans are picked,
then is fermented for 24 hours with the pulp, then is dipulped, after that is
sun dried and stored in jute bags. Thanks to its climate and fertile volcanic
soil conditions, the coffee from this region has been positioned among the
best in the world.
