Finca La Paz is located in Palestina town close to Chinchina, well known as one of the biggest coffee producer municipalities in Colombia. Both towns are located in the middle of the Colombian coffee region, on the slopes of the central mountain chain of Colombia.
The farm keeps natural forest coverage in order to protect the water sources, a key factor in the coffee quality production process. La Paz farm is a typical piece of land part of the Colombian Coffee Cultural Landscape, awarded by the UNESCO to protect what is one of the main cultural heritages for humanity.
Small size farm. Run exclusively by women. The owner is the head of a women association that gathers women from 20 to 70 years old. Almost 90% of the jobs are performed by local women.
